Seattle’s finest peddlers of working class punk n roll THE DROWNS are coming to Mamas and bringing a host of support with them; Misfortune Cookie make a welcome return with their hook laden melodies and Helens incredible voice. Garage Punk from Nottingham in the shape of Reduced bring the lo-fi snot and proceedings open with a solo set from Gaz Moore of The Reverends.
The last time the Drowns played for us it was at the Ostrich Inn – this time they are playing the bigger of our homes – the most amazing venue in the area (if not the UK), Mama Liz’s Voodoo Lounge.
