Skate-Aid 4 – Punk Rock All Dayer with Wonk Unit

You know the drill – this is our 4th all day punk rock gig raising money for Skate Aid.  In previous years you’ve helped us raise hundreds of quid for this little known but fantastic charity.

15 acts, including acoustic sets during the BBQ and lots of fantastic banging bands in the Voodoo Lounge.   The afternoon featured our very own vegan BBQ, and specially brewed craft beer; “Summer Frightening” – a 5% golden summer ale (vegan and gluten reduced/free).

UPDATE:  Duncan Redmonds of Snuff added to the line-up!  The legendary drummer/singer first time at a Scary Clown gig – hopefully not the last!!

All Day Summer madness in Stamford – 20th June Mama Liz’s Voodoo Lounge.

TICKET INFO:  All the pre-order tix are now SOLD OUT!   There will be VERY LIMITED tix on the door.  We advise you to turn up EARLY DOORS if you wish to pay on the door.

We have decided to have a completely different line up to last year, so some new faces, some that have played SC shows before, none from last years all dayer.

UPDATE APR 2015:  So when organising something like this kinda expect someone will hafta drop out due to circumstances beyond their control. Unfortunately Darwin and the Dinosaur have had to pull out, this makes us sad . However, every cloud and all that! So instead we have the bastard sex children of a Rollins/No Means No orgy. Yup Lets Meet Jesus are added, BOOYAH! This makes us happy

UPDATE APR 22 2015:  Ok so the line up replacement for Darwin and the Dinosaur was Lets Meet Jesus, bummed to say that they now cannot make it either. However this does give the opportunity for a good old drunken knees up singalong with A Great Notion! HO HA!!!!

Update May 26th:  We are very pleased to announce that the lovely people at Stamford Skatepark have given Skate-Aid and TSCP the park solely for the use of skateboarders only. Details coming soon. There will be give aways, prizes, a lot of shredding and also lessons for all ages. The event is 9am-1pm so you can head straight over the street for the Party at Voodoo lounge. Boom

This year’s BBQ will have Pulled Jackfruit (google it) served in baps in addition to regular or spicy burgers. Also the free from cup cake lady will be back to satisfy sweet tastes! All vegan. The venue also has a Cajun menu but if you want to eat on the top floor resteraunt you should book in advance.

9am – 1pm Skatepark jam – directly opposite venue (skateboarding only) *  CANCELLED
1pm – 4pm Downstairs in Voodoo Lounge
4pm – 6pm Vegan BBQ, acoustic session in courtyard
6pm – 1am Downstairs in Voodoo Lounge

** There will be prizes and giveaways throughout the day. Quite possibly a raffle! Party
